The story:
In September 2008, 12 cyclists departed from Sydney Children’s Hospital to complete the demanding five day, 1200km ride to Royal Children’s Hospital, Brisbane. Before begining the ride, they visited Sydney Children’s Hospital for a very special farewell afternoon tea, attended by Hospital staff, patients and families. Patients presented them with hand made cards to wish the riders well on their journey.
